The Munich International Airport is located 28 km (18 miles) northeast of Munich, Germany. The airport can roughly be divided into three parts, Terminal 1, common area and Terminal 2. Terminal 1 and 2 are behind the last security check and have fewer shops and eateries for passengers to choose from than in the common area.
